When Was ITIL V3 Released ?

Developed by the United Kingdom's Office of Government Commerce (OGC), ITIL v3 builds upon the best practices established in the previous versions and introduces a more holistic and integrated approach to IT service management.

One of the key enhancements of ITIL v3 was the introduction of the Service Lifecycle approach. This framework outlined a structured approach that organizations can follow to effectively deliver, support, and continuously improve their IT services.

The Service Lifecycle consists of five stages - Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation, and Continuous Service Improvement, providing a comprehensive roadmap for organizations to deliver value and meet the ever-evolving needs of their customers.
